KARACHI (Dunya News) – Seven terrorists of a banned outfit have been killed on Friday in Quaidabad area whereas the Crime Investigation Department (CID) of the Sindh Police has arrested one terrorist and recovered ammunition and weapons from him in heavy amount.
Details have it that the police raided Sherpao Colony of Swati Mohalla in Quaidabad area on a tip off.
Seven terrorists were killed after an encounter with the police.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Malir area Rao Anwar, targeted terrorists belong to a banned outfit and that ammunition and hand grenades have been recovered from them.
He said that these terrorists were involved in the recent terror activities in Karachi.
Separately, the CID Police have arrested a terrorist belonging to an ethnic group during an operation in Gulshan Jamal.
Five accomplices of the terrorist were able to abscond during the operation.
Six kilograms (Kg) of explosives, hand grenades and other weaponry were recovered from the arrested terrorist.
