LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least 15 kilogram of explosive material was used in attack near Wagah Border in Lahore which left 55 dead and over 120 injured, Dunya News reported.

According to the reports, the attackers arrived in the area one or two days prior to the attack.

Earlier, the banned terrorist outfit Jundullah on Sunday claimed responsibility of the suicide attack near Wagah Border that claimed as many as 54 lives and injured over 120, Dunya News reported.

Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar said in a statement that the intelligence agencies had already alerted the authorities about the possibility of the attack at the Wagah Border area.

The Wagah Border Lahore terror left as many as 54 dead and over 120 injured including women, children and members of Rangers force.

The banned terrorist organization Jundullah has been involved in prominent attacks including the recent attack on Jamait Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman.
