KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Thursday reached Karachi Sea View after the threat of Nilofar cyclone hitting Karachi was averted, Dunya News reported.

Shah said he doesn’t fear the cyclone but the administration has done necessary arrangements to deal with any emergency.

CM Sindh took to the Sea View after the threat of Nilofar cyclone hitting Pakistan was averted.

Addressing the media, Shah claimed that the fishermen have more information about the cyclone than the Metrological department.

He said the fishermen had predicted that the cyclone will not hit Karachi.

CM Sindh said that he doesn’t fear the cyclone. He said the government had made ‘effective arrangements’ to deal with the cyclone.

He expressed satisfaction over aversion of cyclone hitting Pakistan’s coastal areas.
