ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member of National Assembly (MNA) Asad Umar on Thursday said that PTI MNAs have already tendered their resignations and that they will not retract. He said if the Speaker gives them the chance then they can announce their resignations in the National Assembly, Dunya News reported.

Earlier, the Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq wrote to the Election Commission of Pakistan to inform that the resignations of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmakers were not verified.

It was stated in the letter written to the ECP that PTI’s resignations could not be verified despite efforts. The letter does not mention anything about acceptance or rejection of the resignations.
