Summary Workers encircled Ijaz Chaudhry on arrival in Gujranwala, blamed him of selling election tickets
GUJRANWALA: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) workers chanted ‘Go Ijaz Go’ slogans today (Thursday) as PTI’s Punjab President Ijaz Chaudhry arrived in Gujranwala, Dunya News reported. Workers also blamed him of selling party tickets during Election 2013.
As President PTI Punjab Ijaz Chaudhry arrived in Gujranwala to review the preparations for PTI gathering in the city, scheduled for November 19, party workers encircled him and chanted slogans against him. Workers criticized the provincial chapter of PTI for their performance in General Election 2013 and chanted ‘Go Ijaz Go’ slogans. They said that the workers who have sacrificed for the party cannot access the party leadership. Unprecedented rigging was done during intra-party elections, said PTI workers.
Exchange of harsh words was also observed on this occasion between supporters and opponents of Ijaz Chaudhry. PTI’s provincial president said that he was ready to address the concerns of distressed workers.
