Summary To maintain law and order in Lahore, 6 companies of Army will be deployed from 1st Muharram
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Six companies of Pakistan army will be deployed in Lahore from 1st Muharram for maintaining law and order in the city during the sensitive month. The decision was taken in a meeting, headed by Corps Commander Lahore. Officials of the district government and police also attended the meeting.
It was also decided in the meeting that 2 helicopters will also be provided on 9th and 10th of Muharram for aerial surveillance. Officials reiterated their resolve to leave no stone unturned in order to maintain law and order during the month of Muharram.
