Summary PA approved registration of godowns, overseas Pakistanis commission, local govt Punjab bills
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Punjab Assembly has approved four bills today (Friday) during its ongoing session including registration of godowns in Punjab, Overseas Pakistanis Convention, local government Punjab bills.
According to the Registration of Godowns Bill, all the godowns in Punjab will now be registered to curb hoarding. Government says that this bill not only help control inflation but will also stop artificial shortage of commodities in the market. 2 bills regarding local government were also passed during the session. According to these bills, cattle markets will be set up in the province and a company will also be established in this regard. Overseas Pakistanis Commission Bill was also passed during the session.
