Summary Anti-terrorism court Hyderabad released Qari Hashim Ali from Daniel Pearl murder case
HYDERABAD: (Dunya News) – Anti-terrorism court has released the accused Qari Hashim Ali from Daniel Pearl murder case. He had been arrested for aiding Daniel Pearl’s murder in 2002 but he was released today (Friday) on hearing of his request for release.
It is pertinent to mention here that Sheikh Umer was sentenced for death in the same case along with his 3 aides Sheikh Adil, Fahd Naseem and Salman Saqib for life sentence.
American journalist Daniel Pearl worked for Wall Street Journal. He was kidnapped from Karachi in 2002 and murdered.
