Summary Chaudhry Nisar had ordered to remove containers from all areas except the Constitution Avenue.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Islamabad police has removed containers from eight locations following orders of Federal Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar on Wednesday.
Reportedly, containers have been removed from eight locations including PTV Road, Secretariat Chowk, Convention Center, France Chowk and Radio Pakistan Chowk.
Chaudhry Nisar had ordered to remove containers from all areas except the Constitution Avenue. Moreover, Islamabad High Court and Rawalpindi Bench had also given orders to remove the containers.
Two months earlier government had blocked the roads with more than 600 containers to halt the Long March and protests. All the routes to and from Red Zone were sealed.
