LAHORE (Dunya News) Abdul Qadir Gillani’s, son of former prime minister, guard killed passing by motorcyclist, whereas the family of the deceased grieved on Ghazi road after the incident, Dunya News reported.
The gunfire incident took place on Bedian road when the motorcyclist impeded the way of Gillani’s entourage, as he was on his way to distribute sacrificial meat. This happened after a scuffle broke between the guards and the motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist, Tahir Malik was shot dead on the scene. The guards fled the scene after the firing.
The deceased motorcyclist’s family allegedly claims that the guards belonged to the personal entourage of Abdul Qadir Gillani, and Tahir was shot just because he refused to give way to Gillani’s security protocol.
The family protested on the road, and refused to move the dead body until the murderers were put behind bars.
Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif took notice of the incident and summoned a report of the incident from CCPO Lahore.
