KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Wednesday said that some elements wish for division in MQM but there’s no cost in dreaming. He said the political referees are showing the red card and that creation of new administrative units is inevitable to save the country, Dunya News reported.
Addressing Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation workers in Karachi, MQM chief said that the claim that all is well in Pakistan is false and misleading.
He said that despite wishes of various elements, MQM is united.
“They said MQM is weakening and being divided into groups”, he said. “How did MQM break 36 year record of collecting skins [of the sacrificial animals]?”
MQM chief also condemned India’s attacks across border with Pakistan saying that Pakistan doesn’t want war but it shouldn’t be taken as Pakistan’s weakness. He said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi should remember that war is not a good thing.
He said MQM leaders and supporters will come into the field with coffin on their heads.
