KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Wednesday said that his party can come into power with the support of ‘establishment’, saying that he doesn’t know why the ‘establishment’ is angry with MQM, Dunya News reported.
Addressing MQM supporters in Karachi on the occasion of his birthday ceremony, Altaf Hussain slammed the prevailing VIP culture among the ruling class. He urged MQM’s elected representatives to give up unnecessary security protocols.
Lashing out at the ruling elite, Altaf Hussain said democracy means government of the people, for the people and by the people and not the government of the families/feudals, by the families/feudals and for the families/feudal.
Taunting Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Altaf Hussain said Bilawal says what his father doesn’t have the courage to say.
