Summary Imran Ismail has been directed to handle the arrangements of the Karachi rally.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Expanding the protest circle against the government, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday announced to hold a grand rally in Karachi on September 21, 2014 where party chief Imran Khan will also address, Dunya News reported.
The decision to hold rallies in several cities including Karachi was taken during the party meeting in Islamabad headed by Imran Khan.
Party’s core committee endorsed the decision to continue protests until Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s resignation.
The details added that Imran Khan will also address the rally in Karachi where not only workers but general public will also be invited to attend.
PTI’s Deputy Secretary General Imran Ismail has been directed to handle the arrangements of the Karachi rally.
The core committee also decided to keep the negotiations suspended until all detained workers are released.
It was also decided to fully follow up on the cases in the Supreme Court and High Court.
According to the sources, Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s son was not granted permission to contest by-poll from PTI on Multan’s National Assembly constituency NA 149 vacated earlier by PTI’s defunct president Javed Hashmi.
