Summary Political differences to be solved via dialogue, she added.

WASHINGTON (Dunya News) -- In a media briefing at Washington, the United States ‎Department of State deputy spokesperson Marie Harf said that the United States Of America ‎‎(USA) has been adamant about solving the Pakistani political crisis through dialogue because that ‎is the only solution.

In response to a question by the media, Marie Harf said, “Well, yes, we still support Nawaz ‎Sharif because he is the elected leader. We have said that repeatedly, and we have been carefully ‎monitoring the demonstrations in Islamabad. We have consistently said that the U.S. encourages ‎all the parties to work together to resolve their differences through dialogue; also, though, oppose ‎any efforts to impose extra-constitutional change to the democratic system. It is something we ‎have talked about a lot in here. We are monitoring it. Obviously, our ambassador remains in touch ‎with Pakistani officials, but not much more analysis than that."
