ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – PML-Q leaders Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi met former president Asif Ali Zardari at his residence to discuss the ongoing political crisis.
Chaudhry brothers urged Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari to play an active mediatory role in the ongoing political turmoil faced by Pakistanis, which is in the greater interest of the public at large.
During the meeting, all the leaders discussed the current sit-in with reference to Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI). The dialogue process between the protesters and the government was also discussed during the meeting. They added that Shujaat has an active role in Pakistani politics today.
