ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will address the nation today (Tuesday) to announce the government’s policy regarding the long marches, according to the sources.

Prime Minister will take the nation into confidence about government’s strategy about the current political situation of the country. Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif has confirmed on Twitter that the Prime Minister will be addressing the nation today.

On Monday, Prime Minister presided over a Pakistan Muslim League (N) high level meeting which was attended by Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and various other federal ministers. Addressing the meeting, Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan had congratulated him for winning the election, then why was he protesting now? President PMLN said that he has visited Imran Khan before and is ready to see him again.

Criticizing Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri, Prime Minister said that people who live in Canada come to Pakistan to bring revolution. Prime Minister said that it was hilarious to see such agendas of the parties which got 200 votes only. He said that democracy was the only way to progress.

Three-time Prime Minister of Pakistan said that dictatorship could never lead Pakistan to its destination. Nawaz Sharif said that the government did not feel endangered because of these marches.

Moreover, Prime Minister said that he was ready to listen to all PTI demands and support them in the Parliament. He offered Chairman PTI Imran Khan to become the head of Electoral Reforms Committee. He said that Pervez Musharraf’s case is in courts and government will act in accordance with the court’s decision.
