Summary Moving towards strengthening military ties between Pakistan and Australia: ISPR
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif met with civil and military leadership of Australia and they exchanged views on strengthening defense cooperation between the two countries.
According to Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), General Sharif met with his Australian counterpart to discuss regional security and military cooperation in Canberra.
General Sharif also participated in the discussion of Vice Chief of Defense Forces where the role of Pakistan military in the war on terror was praised and mutual military ties were discussed.
Participants praised the efforts of Pakistan against terrorism and General Sharif was awarded with the guard of honor.
