Air strikes kill 28 terrorists including foreigners: ISPR

Summary Pakistan Army troops in collaboration with Pakistan Air Force destroy several militant hideouts

MIRANSHAH (Dunya News) -- Operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan continues, air strikes in valley of Shawal killed 28 terrorists including foreigners and destroyed six militant hideouts.

 

According to Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), as the Pakistan Army progresses into the operation, Pakistan Air force (PAF) fighter jets bombarded six militant hideouts and killed 28 terrorists in the course of action.


ISPR stated that so far militants have been cleared out from the areas of Boya, Degan and Miranshah, adding that Boya as well as Degan were strongholds of the extremists. ISPR added that terrorists were using heavy machine guns, firing rockets and mortar shells from the surrounding areas of Mirali while Pak Army troops   thorough search operation from door to door continues.


ISPR confirmed that 12 landmines were defused and landmine making factories were destroyed while killing four terrorists on Saturday.
