Summary Three gang war accused were killed in an encounter with the police and Rangers.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - At least four persons including of Majlis-e Wahdat-e Muslimeen (MWM) activist were killed in separate incidents of firing and violence on Thursday, Dunya News reported.

Some unknown motorcyclists opened firing on the car of MWM activist Asif Karbali near Empress Market killing him on the spot. The accused managed to flee from the scene.

The funeral prayer of Karbalai was offered at Numaesh Chorangi and a large number of party workers and leaders were present on this occasion.

On the other hand, a body has been recovered from Lasbela. According to the police, the victim who has not yet been identified bore multiple gunshot wounds. A man was shot dead in Lyari Baghdadi.

Meanwhile, three gang war operatives in Baghdadi and Napier area of Lyari were killed in a joint operation of police and Rangers.

The accused killed in the encounter were identified as Majeed Steel, Akhter and Kashif Motta.

All suspects were actively involved in serious crimes such as kidnapping for ransom, assassination and extortion.
