ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has no vote bank in Pakistan that is why he has no interest in electoral reforms.
He said that Tahirul Qadri should explain whose agenda he is following by violating law and constitution of the country.
The minister said that the PAT had come across the reality of increase in growth rate and foreign reserves if he had been living in Pakistan.
Pervaiz Rashid said that the work on mega projects of energy has been kicked off while China will invest $ 32 million in these projects.
Earlier, addressing a press conference in Lahore, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri said that the Model Town tragedy has laid foundation for the revolution.
He said that agenda of Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s agenda is to bring more changes than different from that of Tsunami.
The PAT chief said there is a dire need to change the prevailing system in the country upside down.
Qadri said that the government of the government of the present rulers was unconstitutional. He said that the Sharif Brothers immediately buy the election commission even if it is constituted for five times.
The PAT chief also criticized judicial commission that has been formed to probe the Model Town incident.
Dr Tahirul Qadi also strongly condemned Israel’s aggression in Gaza and innocent killings of Palestinians by the Israeli forces. He also slammed armed militants group caliphate in parts of Iraq.
