LAHORE (Dunya News) – Mainly hot and humid weather will prevail in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.
The highest mercury level was recorded as 45 degree Celsius in Sibbi on Thursday.
On the other hand, Local Meteorological Department predicted rainfall with thunder storm in the next few hours in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Hazara Divison, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
Weather in most areas of Pakistan will stay clear. However, light rainfall is expected in Northern areas, Kashmir and the adjoined hilly places during the next 12 hours.
In the last 24 hours,abundance of sunshine caused a considerable increase in the mercury level in major parts of Lahore. Meanwhile, rainfall was reported in some areas of Islamabad, Kashmir, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Malakand division.
The heaviest rain recorded in Rawalpindi was 24 millimeter while 19mm in Kotli,14 in Rawalakot,13 in Jhelum,11 in Mangla,7 in Malam Jabba and 1mm was recorded in Mandi Bahauddin and Saidpur village of Islamabad.
