Summary Blast took place in the premises of Pishta-khara police station leaving a police officer wounded.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – A bomb attack took place in the premises of Pishta-khara police station earlier this morning (Tuesday), Dunya News reported.
In order to target the police mobile van the terrorists had planted the explosives at the roadside. Blast occurred as soon as the police mobile van, that was patrolling the area, arrived at the spot. Police officer, Ijaz, who was rushed to the hospital suffered minor injuries as a result of the attack.
The noise of the explosion at Dora Road was heard in the surrounding areas. Police consignment had initiated an investigation after reaching at the site of the attack. An operation has also begun in the area to make ensure the security of adjoining areas and to hunt down the culprits.
