ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has issued detailed assessment report on Pakistan.
According to report, the government of Pakistan has assured the IMF that Rs 150 billion subsidy on electricity will be reduced during the current fiscal year.
The report further said that government has given written assurance to the IMF that another surcharge will be imposed to recover Rs 240 billion Syndicated Term Credit Finance (STCF) from consumers if Nepra does not include it in tariff determination.
