Summary Pakistan Kisan Ittehad sit-in continues in support of their demands continues in Okara.
OKARA (Dunya News) - According to details, Pakistan Kisan Ittehad staged sit-in Okara in supports of their demands on GT Road on Monday.
The sit-in, which is going on for the past 11 hours, caused huge traffic jam on both sides of the GT Road. People trapped in the traffic jam are facing hardships.
The protesters also blocked railway track, as a result railway traffic was suspended.
The peasant are demanding of the government to stop import of onion and potato from India and provide subsidy and other facilities to local farmers.
