ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The government is all set to present its second federal budget with an outlay of about Rs 3.8 trillion for fiscal year 2014-15 before the Parliament today (Tuesday).
Finance Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar will present federal budget for the fiscal year 2014-2015 in the National Assembly today at 4 30 pm.
President Mamnoon Hussain has already summoned the National Assembly to meet on Tuesday for the purpose. All necessary arrangements have been made for smooth conduct of the budget session.
According to sources, prices of cement, cosmetic, steel and agriculture equipment will go up, while five percent duty on air conditioners and other industrial equipment may be imposed.
