ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - In another step to bridge the power gap, Nandipur Power Plant has started generating electricity.

According to a spokesman of the Nandipur Power Plant, initially 100 megawatt of electricity produced from the project has been added to the national grid.

He said Nandipur power project with the capacity of 425 MW was inaugurated seven months ago. 

Official sources told that the project would be completed by next year. 

As per the design of the project, three turbine would run on fuel or gas and the fourth one would be run with steam generated from these turbines.
