Summary Says govt has informed the court that transfer of some officers will affect Karachi operation.
SUKKAR (Web Desk) - Opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Syed Khurshid Shah has said Shahid Hayat has been transferred under court’s orders.
“Shahid Hayat has been transferred under court’s orders. Pervez Rasheed is my brother. May be court’s orders are not in his knowledge”, he said this while talking to media men here Saturday.
At least 270 officers were affected due to court’s orders, he said adding government of Sindh had already written to court that there were 10 such officers whose transfers would affect Karachi operation.
Earlier, Sindh Minister for Information Sharjeel Memon responded to Rashid’s assertions over the removal Hayat, saying the federal government has no right to dictate the Sindh government.
Memon clarified that the government was only following orders of Supreme Court to remove Hayat.
