LAHORE (Web Desk) – Federal Information Minister Pervez Rasheed has said that bitter past should be forgotten for bright future. He said armed forces had not interfered in government's affairs.

Talking to the media here on Saturday, Pervez Rasheed said Pakistan had honoured the mandate given by the Indian people to the Bharatiya Janata Party in their recent general elections. Pervez Rasheed said we could not live far from our neighbours.

To a question the minister said talks would be held with those groups of Taliban who were willing for dialogue.

Replying to another question, the information minister said the government initiated various mega development projects, like Pak-China Economic Corridor, Motorway Project from Karachi to Lahore, Metro Train project and new power generation plants adding that these projects would go a long way in putting the country on road to progress.
