Imran Khan to hold rallies in 'rigged' constituencies

Summary Sunni Ittehad Council pledged its support to PTI for the 'common cause'.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan announced on Thursday that his party will hold rallies in all four constituencies where alleged rigging took place. PTI is actively campaigning to make its upcoming jalsa in Faisalabad a success. It has acquired Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC)’s support in this regard. Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief Sheikh Rasheed also accepted the invitation to participate, Dunya News reported.
AML Chief Sheikh Rasheed visited Imran Khan at his residence at Bani Gala Islamabad during which, Khan said that PTI intends to hold rallies in all four constituencies it originally suspected to have been affected by rigging.
Khan invited Rasheed to participate in the upcoming Jalsa in Faisalabad that is scheduled for May 25th which Rasheed accepted.
Meanwhile, PTI’s vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi met SIC chief for support for the Faisalabad rally. Both leaders assured support to each other for common causes.
