ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Red Zone of the federal capital has been sealed off by placing containers at all entry and exit points as part of the security arrangements ahead of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s (PTI) protest rally, scheduled on May 11.

According to sources, more than 60 containers have been placed to block the roads leading towards Red Zone.

Rangers and police will be deployed for security of the Red Zone.

Business activities will remain suspended in Red Zone and Blue Area of the capital city, sources told.

On the other hand, PTI has claimed that transporters were being threatened in Faisalabad for participating in the rally. District administration has placed barriers around private bus stands in Gujrat as well.

The party has also alleged that police is harassing its workers while crackdown has been launched against transporters and drivers in different cities of Punjab.
