Summary Five people lost their lives over a property ownership dispute in Lahore yesterday.

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Police have arrested three suspects in connection with the murder of five people over a property dispute in Lahore, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.

The tragic incident took place on Tuesday during a panchayet (elders’ meeting) to settle a dispute between Ejaz and his sister Saira over the ownership of a 10-marla house in Harbanspura area.

Ejaz’s father-in-law Mohammed Umar along with his three sons namely Akram, Ali Raza, and Rafaqat were present in the meeting.

Saira and her husband Jehangir showed up at the panchayet with their security guards.

During exchange of harsh words, Jahangir’s guards opened fire, killing Mohammed

As per details, Jehangir’s gunmen accidentally shot and seriously injured him as well. He died in Services Hospital.

Earlier today, the police arrested three suspects including Saira, Shahbaz and Hamza in connection with the murders.
Whereas, another suspect identified as Yousaf is still at large.
