Pakistan never endorsed drone strikes: PM Nawaz

Summary PM Nawaz was talking to media in London after attending Hague Nuclear Summit .

LONDON (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif reiterated that drone attacks are against the sovereignty of Pakistan. He said the world knows that he has never endorsed drone strikes.

Talking to media after attending the Hague Nuclear Summit, PM Nawaz said that the country is heading towards prosperity and betterment.

The Prime Minister said economic indicators are getting better day by day and the overall economic situation has improved since his party came into power.

Nawaz Sharif said foreign investment has started coming in and Pakistan s rupee is gaining strength against dollar.

He hoped that the load-shedding issue would gradually be resolved.

The Prime Minister said some twenty one thousand megawatt electricity would be added to the national grid during the next seven to eight years.

Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said the government has initiated a dialogue process with Taliban to bring lasting peace and economic stability in the country.

He hoped the peace talks would bear fruits soon as there are sign of progress.

The Prime Minister will spend most of his time with his family in London. His daughter, Mariam Nawaz’s knee operation is expected during his stay there
