MULTAN (Web Desk) -- Funeral prayer of Major Jahanzeb Adnan -- the army officer martyred fighting TTP terrorists in Peshawar -- was offered here on Thursday.
The funeral prayer was held at army ground in Multan Cantt and was attended by Corps Commander Multan and officers from Pak-army.
Hundreds of people also participated in the funeral amid tight security.
The brave martyred officer was later laid to rest in his native cemetery in Multan, army troops gave guard of honor and guns salute before burial.
Major Jahanzaib Adnan was shot dead when unidentified miscreants attacked on Spina Tana Chowki situated in Dara Adma Khel on Tuesday.
Security forces had also killed three miscreants in retaliation fire.
Major Jahanzeb Adnan was an officer serving Frontier Force Regiment in Peshawar for the last one year.
He was father of a daughter and two sons.
Lt. Col (Retd) Malik Noor Muhammad, father of Major Jahanzeb Adnan while talking to mediapersons said that he was proud of his son who embraced martyrdom and sacrificed his life for securing the future of the country. Mother of major Adnan expressed similar sentiments regarding the noble sacrifice of her son.
