Summary Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif says the modern system will be setup in all parts of province.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif launched an Integrated Command & Control System of Punjab Police here on Friday.
Addressing the foundation stone laying ceremony of first command, control and communication centre at Qurbani Lines, Shhbaz Sharif said that this latest system‚ when fully implemented‚ will help in curbing the crime rate in the province.
The Punjab CM said that this modern system will be setup in all parts of province. He said that the Command and Control Center in Lahore will be completed in one year‚ in which three hundred CCTV cameras will be installed at various parts of the city.
Speaking on this occasion Inspector General Punjab Police said that the ratio of crimes in Punjab has decreased as compare to 2012 but incidents of murder have increased in the province.
The Punjab CM directed police authorities to take stern action against those involved in demanding extortion.
