Summary ECP Secretary Ishtiak Ahmad says all parties of Balochistan are taking part in the polls.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Local body election in Balochistan will be held on Saturday (Saturday).
Voting will start at 8am and will continue till 5pm without any break across the province. All security arrangements have been finalised for the polls.
Balochistan government has announced public holiday in the province on Saturday because of local bodies’ elections in the province.
The government has also imposed Section 144 and banned pillion riding in the entire province from 6th to 10th of this month to make the whole electoral process peaceful and smooth.
Meanwhile‚ Secretary Election Commission Ishtiak Ahmad said all arrangements have been finalised to hold LB polls in Balochistan on Saturday.
Talking to media persons‚ he said Balochistan government had been working on holding of elections since 2011 and deserves appreciation for its commitment and efforts.
He said all parties of Balochistan are taking part in LB which manifests the trust people have on these elections.
