Summary Fazl stresses need to bridge Pak-US differences over drone attacks and terrorism.
ISLAMABAD (Online) - The JUI-F Ameer Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that there was a dire need to minimize differences and controversies between Pakistan and USA over drone attacks, and terrorism.
Talking to the US ambassador Richard Olson who called on Maulana fazl said Pakistan played an important role for regional peace and harmony.
“Pakistan fully supports the need for political stability and reconciliation in Afghanistan, which was imperative for goodness and stability of Pakistan,” said Fazl.
The US Ambassador Olson said that America would provide all possible support to Pakistan for enforcing governmental writ in tribal areas and dialogue with Taliban; while Olson also strongly denied the impression that America was pressurizing Pakistan to avoid dialogue with Taliban.
“America supports and strives for a strong, stable and healthy Pakistan, and equally prosperous Pakistani masses”, Olson remarked.
