Summary Indian home minister says India will give befitting reply to Pakistan.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan has accused the Indian army of violating the Line of Control (LoC) in Sialkot again on Wednesday.
Unprovoked firing and shelling allegedly occurred in the Chaprar and Charwah sectors displacing many people from their homes, reported a private ^TV channel.
India meanwhile claimed that a paramilitary soldier was killed while three other others were injured in firing last night, BBC News reported. The firing had continued till Wednesday morning.
Meanwhile, Indian Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said villagers were fleeing their homes because of repeated firing from Pakistan.
This is the latest in the ongoing violations of the Line of Control (LoC) between India and Pakistan where both countries claim the other was responsible for the attack.
Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde on Wednesday said that India will give befitting reply to Pakistan.
The Home Minister further said that additional BSF troops are being rushed to Pakistan border.
Shinde had said stern action would be intiatied in the matter as he asserted that the issue of ceasefire violations would be taken up with Pakistan at a meeting of the Directors General of Military Operations of the two countries.
