LAHORE (Dunya News) PML-N candidate Mian Marghub has been declared victorious after recounting in the PP 150 on 147 polling stations.
The phase of recounting in the constituency of PP 150’s 147 polling stations has been competed after which PML-N candidate has appeared as victorious as compared to PTI candidate Mehr Wajid by 452 votes.
It is worth mentioning that the Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf had claimed that her rival candidate had committed rigging in the PP 150, so election tribunal should arranged for recounting of votes so that the situation may be clear.
At this, the Election Commission managed recounting in which PML-N candidate Mian Marghub has been declared successful with 18,526, having lead of 452.
According to unofficial result, PTI candidate Mehr Wajid secured 18074 votes.
It is worth mentioning that 1136 votes were rejected during recounting.
