Sikandar case: Police submit incomplete challan in ATC

Summary The court has demanded further video recording of the incident occurred in Islamabad standoff.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) Police submitted incomplete challan of the incident occurred in Islamabad where an armed man namely Sikandar entangled security forces for more than five hours without any justification. 

Investigation officer also submitted the video of communication between Sikandar and police provided by the accused wife, Kanwal.

The challan submitted in the court has statements of 13 witnesses including driver Amjad, arms dealer Abid Shah, traffic police and police employees of Kohsar police station. The video recording also has been made the part of challan.

According to challan, main character of the case Kanwal, wife of Sikandar, has been declared accused as she provided assistance to Sikandar in order to horrify and terrorise the environment.

She continuously communicated between the accused Sikandar and police rather than handling the issue in proper way. Kanwal also told a lie during investigation and changed her stance and statements.

Arms dealer Akhtar also has been declared an accused in the challan as he provided illegal weapons to the accused Sikandar who violated law and order in the city for more than five hours.
