Summary Says encounter was not fake, however conduct of one SHO was suspicious.
KARACHI Aug 31 (Online): DIG CIA Sultan Khawaja has said that Aug 15 Safari Park encounter was not fake.
Addressing a press conference at CIA Center on Saturday, he said the CCTV footage of Safari Park encounter, played by media was genuine.
He said the encounter was not fake as police officer Qasim Ghauri demonstrated extreme bravery on that day.
However, he added, the conduct of one SHO was suspicious.
DIG Sultan Khawaja paid tributes to all police personnel killed in the Safari Park encounter on Aug 15.
