LAHORE (Online) Dunya News) - At least one policemen killed and other sustained severe injuries when some unidentified arms assailants opened indiscriminate firing at Lahore Secretariat on Saturday.
According to reports, City Police received information that some criminals had entered in secretariat and two police cops namely Sajid and Anwar were deployed clad in civil clothes.
When criminals reached therein they tried to stop them but they did not stop and opened unprovoked firing resultantly Sajid died on the spot and Anwar Sustained severe injuries.
Upon receiving information, the rescue team reached on the site and rushed the injured cop to Jinnah hospital for medical assistance.
The police has nabbed an accused namely Ismail and shifted him to unknown place for interrogation.
Later on, a heavy contingent of Police cordoned off the area and police high official inspected the entire area in this regard.
