KARACHI (Web Desk) – In a telephonic address on Monday, MQM chief Altaf Hussain urged his supporters not get demoralized if the British police arrested him. He reiterated that he was the victim to an international conspiracy but he would not bow before any force.
Rejecting the Local Government Bill passed out the Sindh Assembly Altaf said PPP was conspiring to divide the province. He alleged that PPP started working on division Sindh in 1973.
PPP is only trying to hoodwink the international community, he said.
Altaf said the Great Britain introduce this system to control the subjects and perpetuate its colonial rule.
Altaf said that the PPP wanted rural-Urban and Sindh-non-Sindhi division in the province with the approval of the bill, which he said was tantamount to imposing British Raj.
He said that the PPP was hatching conspiracy through this legislation but Sindhis and Baloch would foil its attempts to divide the province.
He appealed to the people to vote for MQM candidates in the by-elections. Hussain also said that conspiracies were also being hatched against him at the international level.
“Downfall of PPP government in Sindh has started from today (Monday) and PPP will split into pieces, he said.
He said no other province was adopting the kind of LG system PPP was trying to introduce in Sindh.
Condemning the India aggression MQM chief urged the nation to stand with the armed forces to defend the country.
