KARACHI (Web Desk) - Electricity supply has been suspended in large area of the city due to tripping of high transmission line.
Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) spokesperson Ahmed Faraz said that 220 KV transmission line of Karachi Distributing Authority (KDA) tripped due to functional problem on Sunday late night.
At least 13 grid stations including areas of Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Johar, Gulshan-e-Hadid, Sachal, University and other were affected due to tripping of line.
However spokesperson to KESC has claimed that provision of electricity to affected areas has been completely reinstated again.
