JAMSHERO (Web Desk) - Seven pilgrims died of suffocation and severe heat in a closed tunnel near Lahut area of Sehwan Sharif, Sindh, officials said on Sunday.

 

They were returning after attending the annual "Urs" of Lal Shahbaz at Sehwan Sharif in Sindh province.

 

According to officials these pilgrims were visiting a closed tunnel near Sehwan Sharif for spiritual purpose where they died of suffocation and severe heat.

 

Initially officials said the victims were died by drinking poisonous water but after autopsy conducted in hospital, doctors said pilgrims were died by suffocation.
