LAHORE (Dunya News):-Indian electricity and gas sectors’ high-level delegation called on Punjab chief minister Shahbaz Sharif at Model Town on Tuesday and discussed energy crisis and possible projects likely to launch in Pakistan.
Indian Deputy High Commissioner Gopal Baglay, Joint Secretary ministry for electricity Misses Rita Acharia, Joint Secretary ministry for petroleum and gas P.K Sanga and others technocrats held meeting with Shahbaz Sharif and agreed to cooperate with each other particularly in electricity and energy sectors.
Chief Minister while expressing his views said that Pakistan has been facing energy crisis for long time and Indian interest to stand by Pakistan and cooperate in this field in praiseworthy. Such projects would benefit the masses of both countries, said Shahbaz.
Shahbaz Sharif also said that delegation of Pakistani experts would soon visit India. Transmission line and different gas pipeline projects were also reviewed.
