Summary Hard weather has multiplied sufferings of sick children particularly in Punjab.
LAHORE (Dunya News):-Another child died of measles in Lahore on Monday, raising the death toll to 148.
According to hospital sources, three-year-old Abu Baker suffered from measles was admitted to hospital where doctors provided him every kind of medical facilities but unluckily he could not survive.
It is worth mentioning that at least 148 children have fallen victim to this fatal disease in Punjab out of which 82 are reportedly from Lahore.
The sources also revealed that about 48 cases of measles were reported in Punjab within 24 hours.
Lahore, the provincial capital, has been affected the most by the disease where 5,021 measles cases have been reported since Jan 1, 2013 while total number of cases in the province so far have reached 16,747.
