Summary Interior minister says he will remain in contact with provinces to improve law, order situation.
ISLAMABAD (Online): Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan aimed to make close coordination with the provincial governments including Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhaw governments in order to combat worsened law & order situation across the country.
Talking to media here, Nisar stated that he would continue to extend cooperation, including intelligence sharing, with all the provinces.
Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Saturday and discussed the agenda and priorities of the interior ministry.
The minister assured that the government will specifically support the provincial governments in intelligence sharing and the provision of federal security forces on the demand of federating units.
Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that he would not appear on TV screens daily to disturb people.
Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan gave away prize to a federal police official on showing honesty, after assuming the charge of ministry.
On Saturday Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar called police Constable Nisar Ahmed in the ministry of interior and gave him prize for his honesty. He also directed IG Police to give him a certificate of merit.
Interior Minister Nisar Ali Khan came to know through media same days ago that constable of Kohsar Police Station returned a precious mobile phone to its owner, Noor Aftab.
The minister was much inspired from the sense of duty and honesty of the police official. On the other hand Constable Nisar thanked federal minister for this act of encouragement.
