Summary Supreme Court postponed hearing of petitions filed against Pervez Musharraf for next day(Wednesday).
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News):-Three-member bench headed by Justice Jawad S Khwaja resumed hearing of petitions filed for treasons cases against former military general Pervez Musharraf and ordered the petitioner to submit the record of Maulvi Iqbal Haider’s petition from Sindh High Court.
Petitioner Maulvi Iqbal Haider’s counsel A.K. Dogar said how rulers would learn lesson from the history if the man who violated the constitution is treated as VIP.
Justice Jawad S Khwaja consulted the petitioner to suggest punishment for the accused.
Replying the query, learned counsel A.K.Dogar said that the issue should be referred to the special trial court which would take ultimate decision regarding penalty of Pervez Musharraf.
