LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday said that Pakistani nation is his real strength, adding that people are aware of his intention.
Imran Khan is recuperating at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital after falling off a lift taking him to the stage at a rally ahead of Pakistan s general election on Saturday.
During a short talk with the party members, Imran Khan directed them to expedite election campaigns across the country.
“By the grace of Allah, PTI will achieve success on May 11,” he said.
Imran Khan said he wishes to cast his vote in Mianwali but it seems difficult.
He said May 11 is the day of change in Pakistan. He urged people to come out to cast their votes for change in the country.
Doctors have said that Imran Khan needs bed rest, which could jeopardise the chances of him continuing the last days of the campaign in person.
Hospital spokesman Khawaja Nazir says Khan has one main head injury, two "fractures" to his back and a small injury to his shoulder, but his condition is not serious.
"There is nothing serious to his injuries. He is in a private room, he is not in the ICU (intensive care unit). He has been shifted from the ICU to a private room," Nazir said.
