Summary Full bench of the Lahore High Court has declared PTI chairman eligible for contesting polls.
LAHORE (Dunya News):- Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf chairman Imran Khan has qualified for contesting general elections as the Lahore High Court has declared him eligible.
LHC Justice Aijazul Hassan has rejected the writ petition filed by Amina Bibi for disqualification of Imran Khan.
Moreover, the High Court also has sought an explanation from the Election Commission on April 22 while allowing PML-Q’s Chaudhry Wajjahat Hussain to take part in general elections from Gujrat, Rai Hassan Nawaz and Zahid Iqbal from Chichawatni.
The court also has set aside the ruling of Election Tribunal regarding disqualification of PML-N’s Rana Jamil Hassan.
